Dainkund Peak Sightseeing

Dainkund Peak, located about 10 km from Dalhousie in Himachal Pradesh, is the highest point in the region, offering panoramic views of the surrounding valleys, mountains, and forests. The peak is situated at an altitude of around 2,750 meters and is a popular trekking destination for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. The trek to Dainkund Peak is relatively easy and takes you through dense deodar and pine forests, with stunning vistas of the lower hills and the snow-capped Dhauladhar Range. At the top of the peak, visitors are greeted with spectacular 360-degree views of the Chamba Valley, Ravi River, and distant mountain ranges. Dainkund is also known as the "Singing Hill" because of the sounds produced by the wind as it passes through the trees.
